Bonish Gandhi is a seasoned technologist with over 9 years of experience in product development and engineering. He is currently the co-founder and CTO of Atica, a technology startup that specializes in developing smart IoT solutions for businesses. Prior to Atica, Bonish was the product head at OYO Hotels Europe and the head of OYO IOT, where he led a team of software, hardware, and firmware engineers in developing and deploying IoT products in more than 1 million rooms across 70+ countries. His team was responsible for improving the in-stay guest experience across OYO properties, with products live in India, China, Japan, Malaysia, UK, US, and Europe. Bonish is also the co-founder and CTO of AblePlus IoT Solutions, which was acquired by OYO Rooms. At AblePlus, he developed IoT solutions that brought intelligence into every aspect of a business. His key solutions included internet-managed smart access control for properties, room occupancy detection to arrest revenue leakage, remote monitoring and control of utilities, and asset fencing to detect theft of items in real-time. Bonish holds a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. He is proficient in a range of technologies, including infra, Android, iOS, microservices, and React Native.
