Boopathy Sivakumar is a highly experienced Senior Cloud Engineer with over 12 years of relevant experience in the IT industry. He has extensive knowledge and expertise in various cutting-edge technologies, including AWS, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, Docker, PHP, Jenkins, iOS, Android, and DevOps. Boopathy began his career as a Symfony framework developer and core PHP developer, working on nearly five projects and successfully completing three of them. He also has experience in Yii and CI framework. He has exposure to mobile technology and has created a mobile app for iPhone using PhoneGap framework and JQuery mobile. He has also created mobile applications on Android and iOS natively. In 2016, Boopathy shifted his focus to DevOps engineering, where he currently works on automating infrastructure using various tools available. He has completed certification on Kubernetes (CKA) and AWS (Solutions Architect), demonstrating his commitment to adapting himself to the vast changing technology and practices. Boopathy is an active participant in meetups and enjoys lecturing on the technologies he works with. He is interested in doing talks or lectures on request. Boopathy is currently working as a Senior Cloud Engineer at Presidio, where he has held various positions, including Delivery Lead. Boopathy holds a BSc in Information Technology from Alagappa University, and he also completed a Diploma in Information Technology from Nettur Technical Training Foundation, Department of Technical Education, Govt of Karnataka.
