Brad Ives is the Chief Government & External Relations Officer at Strata Solar, LLC, one of the largest solar energy and battery storage companies in the United States. As part of the senior management team, he is responsible for overseeing the company's government and external relations efforts. Prior to joining Strata Solar, Brad served as the Director of the Task Force for Emergency Repurposing of Manufacturing in Response to COVID-19 at the North Carolina Division of Emergency Management. In this role, he led a team of private sector and university volunteers to repurpose manufacturing facilities in North Carolina to produce critical medical supplies needed by healthcare workers and first responders during the pandemic. Brad also served as Senior Innovation Fellow at the North Carolina Sustainable Energy Association, where he provided strategic advice and expertise on energy efficiency funding programs for utilities. With over 21 years of relevant experience, Brad is a seasoned professional in the renewable energy and emergency management sectors. He holds a Diploma from the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics.
