Braulio De La Torre is a Software Engineer with over 4 years of relevant experience. He is currently the Director of Product Engineering at Briq, where he has architected full-stack scalable solutions based on the product roadmap with an agile process. He has also led multiple teams of full-stack engineers responsible for creating financial banking products and a team of 5 full-stack engineers in creating the company's ETL pipeline. Braulio has worked closely with product and design teams to figure out the product's market fit and has helped build the company's culture by hiring and onboarding new engineers. Before joining Briq, Braulio worked as a Fullstack Web Developer at Computing Kids, where he worked on the administration website and committed bug fixes in Azure with C# and .NET technologies. He also worked as an Intern at Cooke-Bridges, where he researched capillary action for Ti-MEMS devices and supported the fabrication of MEMS devices. Braulio has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of California and a degree in Digital Hardware from Lund University. He also has an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Computer Engineering from Santa Barbara City College. Braulio has a strong tech stack that includes product management, web development, microservices, ETL, UI, and software engineering. He is a Benjamin Gilman Awardee from the Department of State and is always eager to learn new skills and technologies.
