With over 14 years of relevant experience, Brennan has worked on high volume large storage system development, multi-tier client-server systems, multiple internet startups, dev and test consultant gigs, and has a master's degree in Information Science. Currently, Brennan is a Senior Manager of Engineering Operations at ThousandEyes (part of Cisco), where he leads global teams of people with similar and varied backgrounds. He helps them plan and achieve their career goals while ensuring that they deliver well on the tasks set before them. Brennan is passionate about leading teams to come up with thoughtful and elegant solutions that can grow over time and use while still holding together. Before joining ThousandEyes, Brennan worked as a Senior Manager of Product Reliability Engineering at Instabase, where he led a team of highly skilled engineers in helping customers with difficult problems in a complex Kubernetes environment. They worked in Azure, AWS, GCP, and OpenShift. Brennan also worked as a Director of Engineering at AppDynamics. Brennan's education background includes a Master of Science in Information Science from the University of Michigan, which he completed in 2012, and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of California, which he completed in 1989.
