He is the Founder of Forte, a company that aims to accelerate the adoption of blockchain technology in the games industry by creating a range of interoperable decentralized products and solutions. Brett leads the company's efforts in platform and economic design, working to bring Forte's offerings to market through a combination of building, incubating, and capitalizing on promising teams and game projects. Prior to founding Forte, Brett served as Investor and Chairman at First Foundry, a team of world-class engineers specializing in highly scalable real-time products for FinTech, telemetry, and distributed computing systems. He also served as Investor and Chairman at Merigo, a company that supercharges server-side game development with a local development environment and just one-click deployments through staging and production. Brett's educational background includes a degree in Mathematics, Economics, and Political Science from the University of Oregon and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Colorado State University. His tech stack includes expertise in Blockchain, Decentralized systems, iOS, Mobile, Ethereum, Solidity, and DeFi. Brett is passionate about building innovative products and solutions that push the boundaries of what is possible with technology.
