Brian Belley is a seasoned entrepreneur, investor, and engineering leader with over 10 years of experience in the Defense & Space industry. He is currently serving as the Senior Venture Partner at Republic, a portfolio management and due diligence tool for tracking startup investments that was acquired by KingsCrowd in 2021. Brian is also the founder of Crowdwise.org and VentureWallet.co, which were both acquired by KingsCrowd in 2021. He is an angel investor in over 130 private startups through equity crowdfunding and serves as an advisor and mentor to startups raising capital via crowdfunding. As the Vice President of Product at KingsCrowd, Brian is empowering anyone to confidently invest in the private markets. He is a member of the Board of Directors at the Crowdfunding Professional Association and NEFIRST, and an advisor at Spaced Ventures. Brian has a strong background in engineering management, requirements management, leadership, MATLAB, Python, aerospace and mechanical design and analysis, and earned value management. He is a self-taught investor and website developer with expertise in VueJS, Flutter, React, Python, PHP, and Javascript. Brian holds a Master of Science (M.S.) in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Southern California, and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He also completed the Founder School program at Y Combinator in 2018. Overall, Brian is a strong entrepreneurship professional with a wealth of experience in the startup and investment space.
