Brian Cheung is a highly skilled Frontend Developer with over 7 years of relevant experience. Currently working at Paytm Labs, he is responsible for developing and maintaining the frontend of the platform. Prior to this, he worked as a Full Stack Developer at engage people inc. where he focused on frontend development. During his time at engage people inc., Brian was responsible for developing and maintaining the SaaS platform, Podium, for TD Rewards. He developed VueJs and AngularJs components that managed loyalty & reward programs, marketing campaigns, promotions, member-site theme and behaviour, user data, permissions, segments, orders, product brands, categories and catalogs. He also built a configurable member-facing AngularJS app by consuming RESTful API resources for permissions, routes, and theme. Brian also performed system performance analysis to improve site performance and performed WCAG 2.0 level AA Accessibility analysis. Brian's experience also includes working as a Student Assistant/IT Desk Support at e.j. pratt library (University of Toronto). Here, he migrated the old Emmanuel College library website to a Drupal website and developed responsive themes for mobile and tablet devices using PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery. He also resolved users’ technical problems, such as Wi-Fi connectivity, printing errors, and other computer-related issues. Brian has a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Hons degree in Computer Science from the University of Toronto. He is proficient in Frontend, Javascript, AngularJS, PHP, Typescript, VueJS, and Mobile technologies. He is also experienced in unit-testing in AngularJS and Vue.js using Karma, Jasmine, Mocha, and Chai.
