Bright Onapito is a seasoned Software and Data Engineer with over a decade of relevant experience in the field. He is currently working as a Software and Data Engineer at Uganda Investment Authority, where he is responsible for developing software solutions and managing data systems. Before joining Uganda Investment Authority, Bright worked as a Senior Enterprise Writer at Dignited, where he reviewed technology trends and wrote reviews on them. He also identified technology innovators, interviewed them, and wrote features on them. Prior to that, he was a Software Engineer at Onabrightware, where he developed Java/Android mobile applications, PHP, and web applications. Bright holds an MSc in Data Communication and Software Engineering (Mobile Computing) from Makerere University, where he also earned his Bachelor's degree in Information Technology. He is currently pursuing a degree in Statistics and Data Science from the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Bright has a diverse tech stack that includes Data Engineering, Web Development, Software Engineering, PHP, Mobile Development, Java, and Android. He has a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions and managing complex data systems.
