Prior to joining Figma, Brock worked as a Software Engineer at Sparrow, where he created the entire front-end and back-end application from scratch. He also helped Sparrow become HIPAA and SOC compliant and created several automations to streamline the process of processing leaves and sending sensitive information to government agencies. On the frontend, Brock conducted user research, designed, and built a user-friendly interface for leave takers to track their progress and understand their benefits. Before Sparrow, Brock founded and served as CEO of Portico, a revenue technology company that builds software for premium content creators on the internet. Portico's product helps sites analyze their audience, test new revenue strategies, and identify net new opportunities. Brock holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Arizona State University, where he developed a solid foundation in financial analysis and management.
