Budha Bhattacharya is an experienced API Developer Evangelist who is passionate about building a connected and sustainable world through technology. With over 10 years of relevant experience, he has a background in both technology and business, which makes him an expert in communicating the capabilities of a technology to both technical and non-technical audiences. Currently, Budha is serving as an Advisory Board member for DevNetwork, a global community for technology professionals that produces definitive industry conferences for developers, software engineers, and IT industries. In this role, he supports content curation and judges the annual industry DEVIES Awards and hackathons. Previously, Budha served as a Product Evangelist/Developer Advocate for Tyk, where he showcased the capabilities of Tyk and how it drives growth and success for users. He also hosted the All About APIs podcast, which completed its first season with eight episodes featuring experienced thought leaders sharing their insights and learnings on all things APIs. Budha's expertise lies in solving problems at scale using APIs, AI/ML, Blockchain, Cloud computing, Data science, and IoT. He has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Nanyang Technological University and has experience as a Business Coach for Global Startup Weekend Sustainable Revolution. In addition to his professional experience, Budha has a strong technical background in Blockchain, AI, ML, and Data Science. He is a digital nomad who enjoys engaging with the developer community on all things APIs, including security, design, development, management, architectures, data sovereignty, GraphQL, gRPC, and more.
