With over 60 years of relevant experience, C Isa has worked in various fields such as education, photography, linguistics, anthropology, writing, NGO entrepreneurship, PR consultancy, website designing, community development, hospitality, research, PTSD counseling, and crisis intervention. C Isa has a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology, Literature, and Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, a Master's degree in Linguistic Anthropology from Rutgers University, and another Master's degree in Applied Linguistics from CUNY. Additionally, C Isa holds a Certificate in Curriculum Design from Kuwait University and a Certificate in Crisis Intervention from Delaware House. C Isa's specialties include photography, sports photography, visual anthropology, ethnography of aesthetics, social and psychological counseling, applied linguistics, applied anthropology, cross-cultural communication, training, talking, story-telling, haiku, haibun, research, Balkan & Middle East Ethnography, Language & Culture. C Isa is also a good cook, a good tea-maker, and a story-teller. C Isa has worked in various companies such as the US Air Force, Sohar University, and currently works as a lecturer at Kuwait University's School of Islamic Studies and Law in English for Academic Purposes. C Isa has a passion for progressive politics and has been a progressive activist for anti-war, cannabis legalization, homeless, refugees, lgtbq+& family equality. C Isa also has a passion for research on 60s communes, history of football, Hassidism, the Banater [Baranya, Batschka, Banat] Deutsch-Ungarn diaspora in the USA, zen communities and Zen Buddhism, Tasawwuf communities in the USA and the Middle East, Haj and Pilgrimage, Mimar Sinan, and zen in architecture. C Isa has lived and worked in Brazil, Texas, Oklahoma, Illinois, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Turkey, Palestine, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, UAE, Oman, and traveled through about 20 other countries in the Americas, Europe, and the Middle East.
