C.S Bahushruth is a highly motivated and accomplished entrepreneur currently serving as the Founder in Residence at Entrepreneur First. With a background in computer and communication technology, Bahushruth has a wealth of experience in the tech industry, having worked with some of the biggest names in the field. Before joining Entrepreneur First, Bahushruth worked as a Research Intern at IBM, where he developed cutting-edge Graph representation learning models and built multi-modal language and graph convolution models to identify hate speech on social networks. His research on the effect of homophily in spreading hate speech in a social network using GCNs for familiarity was particularly groundbreaking. Bahushruth also worked on systems to combat online misinformation, using efficient information retrieval and sequence classification techniques. Prior to IBM, Bahushruth served as a TinderU rep at Tinder, where he identified and fixed the Instagram authentication error on the TinderU portal by modifying the authorization scopes according to the OAuth 2.0 specification. He also fostered relationships with college organizations, societies, and groups to come up with innovative ways to integrate Tinder into their spheres and organized and managed events in collaboration with Tinder. Bahushruth's education history includes a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer and Communication from Manipal University, where he was an active participant in various extracurricular activities. He also holds a High School Diploma in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Computer Science from St. Joseph's Pre-University College.
