Caio Calado is a Conversation Designer and Community Manager with over 6 years of relevant experience in the industry. He strongly believes that talent is equally distributed, but opportunity is not, and strives to create opportunities for people through hosting meetups, connecting and empowering individuals, and writing about the CUI industry. Caio advocates for human-first technologies and smart interactions through chatbots, artificial intelligence, and conversational interfaces. He has been connecting, helping, and educating people and businesses in Brazil and abroad since 2016. Currently, Caio is the Co-Founder of arara school, where he utilizes his knowledge in Marketing Digital, Growth, and various related industries such as UX Design, IA Conversational, and Curatorship to offer practical courses and workshops to help professionals and businesses create conversational products and services with good experiences through chatbots, voicebots, or multimodals. In the past, Caio has worked as the Head of Growth and Evangelism at botsociety, where he helped the conversational space grow and empowered everyone in the industry. He has also worked as a Program Manager at Microsoft, where he empowered, connected, and included everyone through Reactor São Paulo, a program and community space where technology professionals meet, learn, and connect. Caio holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from California State University and another Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco. He is a designer and a Senior Software Engineer with a strong tech stack.
