With over 14 years of relevant experience, Carmine has been instrumental in utilizing Machine Learning to accurately forecast orders and make recommendations that have generated millions in savings for businesses. Carmine has a Master’s Degree in Computer Science with specialization in Artificial Intelligence from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna. He has worked as a Technical Mentor for Data Science for Social Good at The Alan Turing Institute and as a Founder in Residence at Entrepreneur First, where he was selected as part of a group of 50 to found and build a high-growth technology startup. Carmine’s tech stack includes skills such as Senior Software Engineer, Data Scientist, ML, Research Scientist, P2P, and AI. He has worked with some of the largest retailers in Europe and recently closed a round of funding from a top investor. Carmine is passionate about reducing food waste and has recognized the economic and environmental impact it has on the world. He believes that the antiquated and inefficient food supply chain is the root cause of the problem and is committed to using his expertise in Machine Learning to make a difference.
