Casey Matt is a seasoned software engineer with over five years of experience in the industry. He currently works for Amazon as a Full Stack Engineering Fellow at the Amazon Technical Academy in Detroit. Prior to this, he worked as a Software Development Engineer I at Amazon, where he gained valuable experience in the field. Casey's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Michigan State University, where he graduated with honors. During his time at university, he completed five full-time internships and worked part-time in various roles to finance his education. These experiences not only sharpened his quantitative and technical skills, but taught him the value of learning from those around him and taking active ownership of his work. In addition to his work experience, Casey also has experience in data analytics, having worked as a Data Analytics Intern at Checkars. He has also been a part of the Sage Corps program, a selective global entrepreneurship program that sends top college students to study and intern abroad with global startups. Through this program, Casey spent time in Buenos Aires working alongside CEOs, CTOs, and COOs tackling real problems and building impactful solutions.
