Chaitanya Mittal is a highly motivated and ambitious Software Engineer currently working at QuestBook (YC W21). He is an undergraduate student of Computer Science and Engineering who has a passion for building scalable software and exploring the latest technologies in the field. Chaitanya has gained significant experience in the industry in a short period of 0.36 years. He is currently working on building scalable software for QuestBook, which is a Y Combinator-backed startup. He is also involved in applied ML and AI governance for the Wikimedia Foundation, where he works as a Google Summer of Code Mentor. Additionally, he is working on Quantum Optimization for stealth and BCI to feed his soul, which showcases his passion for exploring new technologies. Chaitanya has also worked as an Outreachy Mentor at the Wikimedia Foundation, where he was responsible for forming project ideas and drafting project proposals. He mentored an intern throughout the process of designing, developing, debugging, and deploying the project. He was instrumental in developing and maintaining a Computer Vision solution to handle image vandalism with Python. The deployment of the project is still in progress. Chaitanya has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from Amity University Dubai, where he studied from 2019 to 2023. He also has a High School Diploma in Sciences from Gems Education, where he studied from 2016 to 2018. Chaitanya’s technical skills include Software Engineering, DAO, Web3, Blockchain, AI, ML, infra, Computer Vision, and Python. He is a highly passionate individual who believes that great results are born of great passion.
