Chakshu Gupta is a Software Development Engineer I at Amazon, based in Berlin. He is a recent graduate from the Indian Institute of Technology in Jodhpur, with a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering. Chakshu is a driven individual who is passionate about software engineering, research, and visual arts. During his time at IIT-J, Chakshu was the Secretary of the Student Design and Art Society and the Captain of the Fine Arts Club, where he developed his managerial skills and gained valuable experience in leadership. He also cleared the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) - Advanced in 2017, and was one of only three students out of 180 to have the opportunity to change his discipline to CSE based on first-year merit. Chakshu has worked as a Software Development Engineer Intern at Amazon, where he researched project goals and their impacts, prepared a tentative timeline, and delivered service and UI enhancements with an automated testing framework via Software Sprint (Agile) cycle, using Django and AngularJS. He also improved customer experience and worked on some stretch goals. Additionally, he has worked as a Research Intern at the Indian Institute of Technology, where he worked on a project titled "Finding Differential Characteristics of SHA-256" and implemented a differential attack on SHA-256 till 24-rounds in C. Chakshu's technical skills include software engineering, AWS, UI, web development, Django, AngularJS, and research science. He has relevant experience of 1.35 years and is always eager to learn and grow in his career.
