Chandan C is a Principal Software Engineer at Protegrity with around 10 years of diversified experience in CPP and Java development. He has expertise in design and development of connectivity solutions for on-prem and cloud. He is proficient in designing, developing, and deploying highly scalable, available, and secure Java-based microservices. Chandan has worked with AWS ecosystem, Docker, and Chef.io. He is an Informatica Certified Informatica 8.x Administrator and has proficiency in developing Eclipse plugin. Chandan has experience in building automation testing tools/frameworks, involving understanding the process of an application, preparing a framework, preparing test plans, preparing test cases, and automating test cases. He has worked on Informatica PowerCenter 8.6.x, Informatica 9.0.x, Informatica 10.0.x, and Informatica 10.2.x. In his current role at Protegrity, Chandan is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying highly scalable, available, and secure Java-based microservices on Docker, AWS, and Azure Ecosystem. He is also responsible for designing microservices considering multiple products of Informatica and integration with various products and other external application/service integration. Chandan is the contact person for Informatica Connectivity Toolkit [ICT] and all the CCI microservice operations and proactive monitoring of service health. He provides technical assistance and architecture review to peers on new connectivity solutions coming on to the platform. In his previous role at Informatica, Chandan was responsible for designing and developing brand new Essbase connector on Informatica BDM platform. He was involved in the end-to-end ownership to provide generic support for i18N, L10N for a CPP and Java based connector in Informatica Connector toolkit. He was also involved in the design and extension of Common Consumer Interface (CCI), which is a single interaction point for all the Informatica connectivity needs. Chandan was nominated to INFAStar Award for individual contributions to the team and support provided during Cloud Platform upgrade and received multiple appreciation awards from multiple stakeholders. He was awarded CTG Most Valuable Peer(MVP) Q3 & Q4 2016. Chandan holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Visvesvaraya Technological University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Mysore.
