Chandan Kumar is a skilled Senior Software Engineer with over 4 years of relevant experience in the industry. He is currently working at Wipro as an L1 Engineer (Intern), where he has gained valuable experience in customer-facing projects, communication skills, team collaboration, and remote support. Prior to Wipro, Chandan worked as a STEP Intern at ThoughtWorks for 20 months, where he participated in one of the best "work while learn program" internships in the industry. During this time, he learned a variety of technical and soft skills, including assembly programming, NodeJS, Java, Clojure, Haskell, React, Docker, team collaboration, agile processes, scrum, structural thinking, and presenting both in theory and practice. He also worked on an eight-month project for one of the largest e-commerce giants in Latin America, where he taught NextJS, React, Java, and GCP. Chandan has also worked as an Application Developer at ThoughtWorks, where he worked with one of the largest car companies in Europe to help with their sales process using microservices. He also worked on a fast-paced MVP for one of the largest e-commerce companies in Latin America, where he led the frontend team and worked closely with the backend and design teams to deliver the project in the quickest time possible. Additionally, he worked with a banking giant to help them understand the process of XP, agile, and scrum, and worked with client developers to help them understand the process of refactoring, TDD, and more. Chandan holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Alagappa University, Alagappa Nagar, Karaikudi, and a Diploma in Computer Engineering from Guru Nanak Dev Institute of Technology. He has a strong technical skill set that includes AWS, GCP, RabbitMQ, Clojure, microservices, frontend and backend development, Java, Kotlin, and Docker.
