He has a proven track record of improving and optimizing algorithms in Artificial Intelligence, including reinforcement, supervised, and unsupervised learning, object detection and classification, OCR/ICR, and predictions algorithms. Chandan is an expert in porting models in edge devices, AWS, GCP, data understanding, and process automation. He is also experienced in customer calls/requirement understanding, pre-sales, demos, and research and development. Chandan is passionate about mentoring others in AI and Data Science. Currently, Chandan works at Sony as a Deep Learning, EDGE-AI (IMX500 Chip Vision Sensor R&D) professional. He is responsible for AI models optimization, quantization, pruning, compatibility conversion, and porting on the IMX500 chip. This chip is the world's first Intelligent Vision Sensor with edge processing functionality, enabling high-speed edge AI processing without needing a round trip to a server.
