Chandra Bhaskar Jha is an experienced Data Engineer with a focus on Cloud and Big Data. He has hands-on experience with various technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, dbt, Azure, Python, Denodo, Talend, DataStage, Hadoop, Apache Spark, Hive, Sqoop, SQL, and more. He is smart enough to get the high-level context, connect with cross-functional partners like data scientists, engineers, and product owners, and deliver highly available and scalable data pipelines in a rapid manner. Chandra is a dedicated and determined person who can adapt to any environment. He has worked on delivering multiple POCs as well as internal projects with the changing technologies in Modern Data Stack. He is also building a new practice related to Cloud Data named as Cloud Data Factory, taking multiple candidates interviews and mentoring & training juniors. In his current role as a Senior Data Engineer II at useready, Chandra is responsible for building scalable distributed data solutions using Hadoop. He has experience in performance tuning of Spark Applications for setting the right Batch Interval time, correct level of Parallelism, and memory tuning. He has worked on a Cluster of size 130 nodes and has analyzed SQL scripts and designed the solution to implement using PySpark. He has also developed Spark programs using Scala API's to compare the performance of spark with Hive and SQL. Chandra has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from B. M. S. College of Engineering and Graduation from Visvesvaraya Technological University. He has also completed his schooling from Sunshine Preparatory High School. He has written several articles related to Data Engineering and Modern Data Architecture.
