Chandra Lakkimsetty is a highly experienced Senior Manager in Software Development Engineering (Apps) at SanDisk® with over 19 years of relevant experience in the field. He has a core expertise in designing and developing applications related to the Telecom domain, custom application development using SDLC, and mobile phone application and middleware development. Chandra has good experience in analysis, design, and development of Software applications using Android, Java, Symbian c++, C++, QT, QTMobility, VC++, and Eclipse plugin development, EMF using Core Java. He has also worked with QT, Phonon, QTMobility Symbian multimedia framework plugin and VC++ application development. Chandra has extensive experience in using CM Synergy, SVN, TFS for version control, and has used CM Synergy for baselines creation and DCM. He has been involved in the implementation of big Telecom Projects for clients like Nokia Corporation. Chandra has worked extensively with Agile process and Test Driven Development, and has understood various roles in Agile process and their responsibilities. He has also been successful in implementing Onsite-Offshore models and CMM Level-5 processes. In his current role as Senior Manager, Software Development Engineering (Apps) at SanDisk®, Chandra leads a team of developers and manages the design and development of software applications. In his previous roles, he was Manager, Software Development Engineering at SanDisk and Software Architect at Philips, where he worked on Visual light communication and Indoor Positioning related applications. Chandra holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University. His tech stack includes Software Engineer, Java, Android, test, Mobile, and Senior Software Engineer.
