Chandra Maloo is a seasoned Product Manager with over 5 years of experience in the tech industry. Currently working at CRED, he is responsible for building a seamless credit card management product that meets the needs of the modern consumer. Chandra has a strong technical background in AI, Mobile, ML, and Big Data, which enables him to develop innovative solutions that drive business growth. Prior to his role at CRED, Chandra worked as an AI Engineer at Samsung, where he developed an AI Mode for Samsung air conditioners. He also trained a cluster-based ML model with 85% accuracy and built time series forecasting models for air conditioner energy usage and night sleep time to help users save energy. Chandra filed 1 PCT, 1 US, and 4 KR patents for these AI-based comfort cooling features in Samsung air conditioners. He was also responsible for the complete technical ownership of the grocery recognition service for camera-based Family Hub refrigerators, which was demonstrated in CES 2020 and KBIS 2020. Chandra's previous experience as a Big Data Developer at Samsung equipped him with skills in end-to-end data pipeline setup and critical insights on user behavior and device performance. His KPI dashboard of Samsung IoT appliances was selected as the Best Internship Project among Pan IIT interns. Chandra holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Bombay, where he graduated in 2017. He also has a Higher Secondary School Certificate from Dr. Ambedkar College, Deekshabhoomi, and a Secondary School Certificate from Saraswati Vidyalaya.
