Chandra Prakash is a Lead Software Engineer in Test at Freshworks with over 8 years of relevant experience. He is passionate about coding and continuously improving the coding standard, and is extremely strong and fast at learning new technologies. Chandra is capable of keeping the team motivated at all times and is a pioneer and calculated risk taker. He has experience in handling complex issues by perfectly planned approach as a team lead or as an individual. At Freshworks, Chandra is responsible for improving productivity and reliability by providing ideas on creating automation for complex and redundant manual works. Prior to his current role, he worked as a Senior Software Engineer in Test at Freshworks, where he took up squad leader responsibility and led a 6 member agile team. He was responsible for taking care of manual testing, developing automation scripts, providing framework improvements, guiding the team towards new innovative strategies and logics. Before joining Freshworks, Chandra worked as a Senior Software Test Engineer at Integra Connect, where he developed tools in different platforms, performed performance engineering, developed frameworks, tested APIs, and reduced manual works by creating useful tools and scripts. Chandra completed his Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from K.L.N. College of Engineering in 2013. He also completed an ETO Course in Electrical, Electronics and Automation Equipment in Ships from B.P. Marine Academy, Belapur, Navimumbai in 2014. Chandra completed his schooling in Bio.Maths from TVS Higher Secondary School in 2009. Chandra's technical skills include test, SDET, software engineering, senior software engineering, QA, SQL, Python, Selenium, Javascript, dotNET, ASP.NET, Spring, Integration, Ruby, Java, Data Engineering, DevOps, and ETL.
