ChandraKumar Kalaimani is a Senior Software Engineer at OpenText, formerly known as Micro Focus. With over 6 years of experience in software engineering, he has a passion for developing innovative programs that expedite the efficiency and effectiveness of organizational success. He is well-versed in technology and writing code to create systems that are reliable and user-friendly. ChandraKumar is a skilled developer who has the proven ability to motivate, educate, and manage a team of professionals to build software programs and effectively track changes. Currently, ChandraKumar is a part of the ZENworks Rapid Response Team at Micro Focus. He is responsible for doing product line maintenance activities by giving effective customer support through timely resolution of customer/internally reported defects/service requests with high quality. He also contributes to new feature developments to the product, as a team with high-quality code developed using a test-driven development approach (with appropriate unit tests and component/integration tests). He has taken responsibility for delivering and maintaining security patches for ZENworks Appliance regularly (on a quarterly once basis) and maintaining CI/CD for all the User Stories developed by the team using Jenkins. In the past, ChandraKumar has worked as a Software Engineer and Software Engineer Intern at Micro Focus. He has contributed to various projects such as ZENworks Patch Management, ZENworks Imaging, and ZENworks Image Explorer Utility. He has added new commands/options to do release of quarantined patches for all required client devices by the patch administrator and to do organized and effective scanning of the latest security patches for all required client devices by the patch administrator. He has also resolved customer reported defects on the Patch Management component on time with high quality. ChandraKumar has a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from PSG College of Technology and a High School degree in Computer Science from Jawahar Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Neyveli. His technical skills include software engineering, CI/CD, testing, Jenkins, and integration.
