Chandramowli J is a Software Development Engineer II at Amazon, with a passion for solving real-world customer problems. With 3.78 years of relevant experience, he has a strong background in software engineering and testing, as well as expertise in AWS, web development, ReactJS, Java, and Kotlin. Currently, Chandramowli is working with the Alexa Identity team at Amazon, where he is focused on developing more useful skills for Alexa to make customers' lives easier. He has played a pivotal role in the launch of Alexa Care Hub and has worked on several services that see high traffic, including a token exchange service that receives close to 10,000 hits per second. Additionally, he has been a single point of contact for Alexa Care Hub related programs, including Care Get Well plan and Care Plus, which enable care givers to remotely manage the device of care recipients. Prior to his current role, Chandramowli worked with the Amazon Academy web-app team, where he developed the Profile page and Test Listing page of the WebApp. He also completely owned the Unscheduled Tests launch in the WebApp and designed and implemented Pause and Resume functionality for the Unscheduled tests, enabling students to pause the test when they want and resume it later. He also brought in support to Audit, Edit, and View JEE Advanced type questions in the Content Curation tool, which eased the creation of questions for JEE Advanced. Chandramowli's past experience also includes working with the Content Ingestion and Curation Team of KC India Test Prep. division at Amazon, where he revamped the Content Tool by migrating Content Upload and Status pages, integrated CKEditor, and brought in Question Metadata Editing feature, among other things. Chandramowli holds a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from SSN College of Engineering, as well as a High School degree in Computer Science from D.A.V. Boys Senior Secondary School and a secondary school degree from The Hindu Senior Secondary School.
