Chandrashekar Vasudevan is a highly skilled Data Scientist with over 12 years of experience in the field. He has a passion for Data Science and Analytic Sciences and has built analytic solutions at Cisco, SAP Labs, and previous organizations. Chandrashekar has experience in consulting and engineering in the Banking, Enterprise Software, and Computer Networking industries. He has also worked with the Government of India's Smart City Mission in building an Observatory for the parameters of interest for Smart Cities in India. In his current role as a Data Scientist at Wipro, Chandrashekar has been working hand-in-hand with business stakeholders under Cisco Engines to develop Analytics and address their needs and opportunities. He has successfully designed and built analytical models and reporting solutions that are embedded in daily processes, including Cisco products as well as Engineering and Business Operations. Chandrashekar's deliverables include generating insights and recommendations for Predictive Maintenance, Predictive Modeling of Contract renewals, partnering with Network Engineers at Cisco to incorporate analyses into products and solutions. His work spans across areas like tracking Customer Satisfaction, Improving Project Delivery, Strategy and Planning (Forecasting), Business Intelligence, and Network Analytics. Chandrashekar has hands-on experience working with algorithms such as Forecasting, NLP, CNNs, RNNs, Association Rule Mining, NB-Miner, Decision Trees, Random Forests, Boosted Trees, and Self-Organizing Maps. He has previously held responsibility for Analytics Delivery as a Senior Associate with i3 Consulting, Delhi, with a focus on the markets in the Middle East. It helped him to gain expertise in Machine Learning and Predictive Analytics while at SAP Labs and working on SAP Predictive Analytics solution. He also has a US patent pending on KNN Optimization, submitted while working as a part of SAP Labs. Chandrashekar is passionate about technology and providing business solutions.
