Chandrika Deb is a first-year PGP student at IIM Rohtak with a strong interest in consulting and marketing roles. She holds a Six Sigma Green Belt certification and has over 23 months of experience in telecom software development, having worked with Amdocs as a Software Developer and an Innovation Agent since her graduation from BIT Mesra. Her top technical skills include Core Java/Spring Microservices, Kafka, Couchbase, and Jenkins, and she is also familiar with Golang, Javascript, Python, and Machine Learning. Chandrika is a Senior Coordinator for the Placement Committee at IIM Rohtak, where she is accountable for seeking, developing, and maintaining corporate relationships, as well as facilitating the summer internship and final placement process. She is also responsible for inviting various working professionals to summits, guest lectures, and conferences where they share their experiences with the students, and representing the institute and its students at various corporate visits and company personnel interaction. In addition to her academic and professional pursuits, Chandrika has developed a successful personal project, 'Face Mask Detection', which has won international recognition and several citations. She is also a freelance content writer for Pepper Content, Aviyel, and LambdaTest, having published high-quality SEO content blogs and articles mainly on topics of CI/CD, DevOps, and Cross-Browser Testing, with a total of more than 10,000 views across all devices. Chandrika holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science and Engineering from BIT Mesra and is currently pursuing her Master of Business Administration degree from IIM Rohtak, which is expected to be completed in December 2024.
