Charitanya Bandi is a Senior Graphics Hardware Engineer at Intel, with over 6 years of relevant experience in the field. She is a graduate of Portland State University, where she earned both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. She also holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in India. Charitanya's career at Intel began as a Xeon+FPGA Platform Validation Intern, where she contributed to the validation of FPGA platforms for Xeon processors. Since then, she has risen through the ranks to her current position as a Senior Graphics Hardware Engineer. In this role, she is responsible for designing, developing, and testing graphics hardware for Intel's products. Prior to her time at Intel, Charitanya worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Portland State University, where she assisted professors with teaching and grading coursework. Charitanya's educational background and professional experience have given her a strong foundation in electrical and computer engineering, with a particular focus on graphics hardware. She is skilled in programming languages such as Verilog, VHDL, and C++, and has experience with tools such as Quartus, ModelSim, and Synopsys. In her free time, Charitanya enjoys hiking and exploring the Pacific Northwest. She is also passionate about volunteering with organizations that promote education and STEM careers for underrepresented groups.
