Charu Gupta is a skilled software engineer with hands-on experience in backend development and full-stack development. With a career spanning almost three years, Charu has worked in both legacy and open-source infrastructures, developing object-oriented models and designing data structures for new software projects. She is an expert in implementing business logic and data models and has experience in migrating systems from legacy infrastructures to open-source ones. Currently working at Goldman Sachs as a Software Engineer (Analyst), Charu is part of the FICC Systematic Market Making Desk (Algorithmic Trading Team), where she focuses on Municipal Bond Trading. Her work involves managing and improving workflows, as well as the desk's risk, using Slang(Functional Programming Language), Java, and some exposure to AngularJS. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Charu worked as a Software Engineer at Airtel, where she was a member of the DTH team. During her time at Airtel, she worked on several tools and technologies, including Springboot, Tableau, and some exposure to Hadoop ecosystem tools. Charu holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra. Her technical expertise includes Backend development, Java, Spring Boot, Infra, Hadoop, MySQL, Cassandra, Spring, Search, and Web.
