Chase Schultz is an experienced AWS Engineer with over 5 years of relevant experience in designing and implementing AWS cloud infrastructure. Currently working at Credence Management Solutions, LLC as an AWS Cloud Engineer, Chase has a proven track record of delivering scalable and cost-efficient solutions for his clients. Before joining Credence Management Solutions, LLC, Chase worked as a Software Engineer at Capital One where he created and implemented 'Odyssey', a serverless migration tool that reproduces an application’s AWS infrastructure across accounts. He also architected AWS cloud infrastructure for a team requiring a scalable, cost-efficient design for an application utilizing VPC, S3, Route 53, Auto-scaling, CFT, EC2, ECS, SQS, SNS, RDS Postgres, SWF, and more. Chase designed and implemented an automated Disaster Recovery solution for specific use cases using Boto and CloudFormation to meet regulatory requirements of cross-region high-availability. He consulted teams on best practices for AWS cloud architectures and worked to supply portable designs on a daily basis. Additionally, Chase devised an internal reporting site to host application testing results hosted in S3 and provide a dashboard with analytics derived from Athena queries. Prior to Capital One, Chase worked as a Technical Analyst at NC Area Health Education Center where he provided database administration services for UNC medical air transportation. He also aided with system administration responsibilities for Center staff of approximately fifty individuals. Chase received education in JavaScript and SQL development to develop innovative solutions to aid with creating an interactive database on Center servers. He served clients with technical support including software, network, and email troubleshooting on a number of platforms. Chase holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Science/Studies from the University of North Carolina, completed in 2017. He is proficient in AWS, infra, test, ECS, Software Engineer, Amazon Athena, Postgres, and ML.
