Chelsea Manavas is an Artificial Intelligence Engineer with a primary focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP). She has over 4 years of relevant experience in the field of AI/ML engineering and software development. Chelsea is currently pursuing her Master of Artificial Intelligence degree from La Trobe University. Currently, Chelsea is working as a Process Innovation Automation Engineer - Artificial Intelligence at Ford. In her previous role at Waybeo, she was the AI product team head for customers, Ford India and Bridgestone India. She converted an R&D project into a revenue-generating product and assembled and trained the R&D team. Chelsea worked closely with the CTO and CEO on R&D and product roadmaps and implemented TensorFlow based DeepSpeech, tuned hyper-parameters, and split audio into segments to prepare the dataset. She also built a web app for the language team to transcribe, verify, and analyze data to create a dataset for training the language model. Chelsea built an API engine for the AI product to identify keywords from the given audio input and monitored and optimized the usage of GPUs in the ML server. She planned and implemented AI roadmaps for customers as per their requirements. Before joining Waybeo, Chelsea worked as a PHP Analyst Programmer at Sonet Systems. She worked on the Assessment Master product, which is an online testing software for the education and community sector. Chelsea worked on Yii modules and PHP functionalities and used PostgreSQL database for product development. She also learned the basics of Jaspersoft while attempting to create reports for clients. Chelsea holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Kerala and completed her high school education from Indian School Rak. She is proficient in AI, ML, language models, NLP, TensorFlow, PHP, and web technologies. Chelsea is a Senior Software Engineer and has a good understanding of software development processes.
