Chengzhi Zhao is a seasoned data engineer with a successful history of developing large-scale data pipelines and data warehousing solutions. With almost a decade of relevant experience, Chengzhi has honed his skills in programming, distributed systems, batch and real-time data pipelines, and data visualization. As a committed contributor to Apache Airflow, Chengzhi has demonstrated his expertise in Scala, Java, and Python. He is also proficient in a range of data engineering tools and technologies, including Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Flink, Storm, Sqoop, Docker, Kubernetes, Airflow, SSIS, Pentaho, Talend, AWS (S3, EMR, ECS, Kinesis, Lambda, DynamoDB, Aurora), and GCP (GCS, Pubsub, Dataproc, BigQuery). Chengzhi's experience extends to data-driven applications using open source libraries and data visualization tools like SSRS, SSAS, Kibana, Tableau, and BIRT. Prior to this, he served as a Sr. Data Platform Engineer and Data Engineer at Meetup, where he honed his skills in data engineering and developed a deep understanding of the industry. Chengzhi holds a Master of Science in Information System & Operation Management from the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business, as well as a Bachelor of Management in Marketing from Wuhan University of Technology.
