Chert has a proven track record of success in leading large projects of over one million lines of code and building strong, motivated teams that complete their tasks on time. He excels at mentoring engineers to achieve excellence in software development while building their self-confidence. Chert is a Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) with expertise in C# MVC, ASP.NET, .NET, SQL, MongoDB, and other technologies. He has also worked with RabbitMQ, EasyNetQ, NoLockQueues, AmCharts Graphing tools, ElasticSearch, and other technologies, which he has learned in days, if not hours. Chert has worked with several companies throughout his career, including file & servexpress, where he worked on a Single Sign-On system across all their applications using Azure technologies. He also created an email processing system that processed all emails for a domain and queued the work using Service Bus, allowing scaling to any desired level. He also worked with efg companies, where he led the architecture board and drove changes in procedures and systems, including TFS Branching, creating continuous integration servers and deployment systems, tightening security on web and database servers, overseeing development by break-fix developers, working with offshore DBA teams, and more. Currently, Chert works as a Software Architect at CSG, where he converted from Tekzenit when Tekzenit sold assets to CSG. He is working on the Safe Harbor project as a solutions architect. Chert holds a degree in Computer Science from Iowa State University, where he graduated in 1983. He is proficient in several technologies, including SQL, MongoDB, dotNET, RabbitMQ, ASP.NET, Elastic Search, and Azure. Chert is an expert in optimizing performance, having taken SQL code that took 2 1/2 hours to run and optimized it to take 2 1/2 minutes – a 98.2% reduction in time.
