Chetan Goyal is an industrious and audacious technology leader with software development and product leading capabilities. With over 8 years of relevant experience, he is an expert in working on high performance, real-time, and low latency systems. He has worked extensively on mission-critical multi-threaded applications and has a thorough understanding of object-oriented methodology, UML, and design patterns. Chetan is ready to take on programming challenges and has excellent problem-solving skills. Chetan has led products individually for the past couple of years, and one of the remarkable products he led was in Upstox, a fintech startup. This experience gave him a broader vision to think and work on very big and time-critical systems. He is an expert in writing algorithms for desired business needs and has experience in designing and prototyping software projects. Currently, Chetan is the Head of Engineering at Baraka, a Y Combinator S21 startup. In his previous role at Trade Republic, he led and developed the key product that speaks to multiple exchange partners and consumes the high throughput feed and enabled it to end-users for a nice and always-on-the-top trading experience. He also architected and revamped the complex and monolithic designs to multiple simple and lightweight solutions. As a Tech Lead at Exponential, Chetan got an opportunity to work on R&D on forecasting solutions for Ad-Exchange bidding. He developed a mathematical and statistical formula that was the perfect fit for forecasting and proved best among many others on ad-requests. Chetan holds a Master's degree in Computer Applications and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Punjab Technical University. He is skilled in Senior Software Engineering and Software Engineering and is always ready to learn new things.
