Chetan is currently working at booking.com as a Software Engineering Manager, where he is responsible for leading the development of scalable software solutions. Chetan is skilled in all aspects of the software development cycle, including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment. He has experience working with AWS and Azure cloud platforms and has firsthand experience in Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Delivery (CD). Chetan defined and measured quality metrics for search and improved key quality metric significantly (80%) in a short time while paving the way for a long-term strategic solution. Chetan has also led a product concept team where he worked on new product offerings. In a very short time, the team built the first prototype for “Intuitive Guidance,” aimed at improving the navigation experience by generating human-like navigation instructions. He delivered the product before time for a key TomTom customer. Chetan has experience in defining specifications and software architecture design.
