Chetan Naik is an experienced System Engineer with a passion for automating IT infrastructure activities using PowerShell and Python scripts. He has a particular interest in AWS Cloud, where he enjoys building infrastructures and services and automating them with Cloud Formation code. Currently, Chetan works at Zocdoc, where he develops scripts to automate IT activities, works on AWS cloud, Google Workspace services, and Better Cloud workflow, manages Windows Server infrastructure and AD services, and provides support to end-users based on JIRA tickets raised. He also serves as a third level of escalation for Active Directory issues and documents IT knowledge base and process documents on Confluence. Prior to Zocdoc, Chetan worked at Entercoms and Sakon, where he implemented Azure and AWS cloud infrastructure, commissioned and decommissioned servers in data centers located at different continents, managed HP iLO Blade and Dell PowerEdge, iDRAC Servers, and configured Dell and HP storage devices with SAN, NAS, iSCSI, and RAID. He also monitored servers and Windows services in DC based on Nagios alerts, developed backup scripts for IIS and SQL Server with required RPO, implemented SQL Server replication on multiple servers, and established Disaster Recovery plans. Chetan was also involved in various Data Center projects and worked on IT controls, compliance, and auditing standards such as ISO 27001:2013, GDPR, CAIQ, SOC1. He created IT policy and procedure documents for System and Security auditing controls. Chetan holds a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree from Mitson College Pune and a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) degree from Shivaji University. He has experience in AWS, infra, Azure, Python, and SQL and has relevant experience of 8.12 years. Chetan's passion for automating IT infrastructure activities and his experience in managing data center operations, Windows server Active Directory services, AWS, and Azure cloud infrastructure make him a valuable asset to any organization.
