Chethan Chandrashekar is a highly motivated software specialist with expertise in designing and architecting highly scalable cloud-based B2B SaaS software solutions based on Microservices. With over 16 years of relevant experience, he has successfully created a B2B Marketplace - SaaS technology solution from the ground up, which is now utilized by leading retailers worldwide. His solution enables retailers to digitally discover great products virtually, develop ideas, and design collaboratively with their internal teams and global suppliers. Currently working as a Senior Manager, Software Engineering at Salesforce, Chethan is responsible for assisting the product management team in defining and comprehending business demands to turn them into technical solutions. He leads the architecture, development, quality assurance, and cloudops/devops teams in developing and delivering software solutions for large-scale cloud operations to suit the B2B market's demands. In the past, Chethan has worked as a Director of Marketplace Engineering at Bamboo Rose, where he was responsible for strategizing, planning, building, and developing Bamboo Rose B2B Marketplace and Retail solutions for a global base of retail customers. He engaged with the Chief, Exec, and Product Management teams to establish the product's business requirements and road map. He led architecture, development, quality assurance, and cloudops/devops teams both locally and offshore to scale high-volume distributed systems, make architectural trade-offs using best design patterns, review code, and deliver quickly and with high quality. Chethan holds a Master's degree in Software Systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Science from Global Academy of Technology. His areas of expertise include B2B SaaS Technology Solutions, Microservices, Cloud operations - AWS & Azure, Performance & Scalability, Elastic search, and Leading Teams.
