Cheuksan Wang is a highly experienced computer scientist and software engineer with over 18 years of relevant experience. He is currently the Co-Founder of Deepen.ai, where he oversees all technical aspects of the company, including developing technical strategy, recruiting engineering candidates, and solving hard technical problems. Deepen.ai is working on computer vision using deep learning, including image classification, image matching, video semantic segmentation, as well as optimizing deep learning frameworks for mobile devices. Prior to founding Deepen.ai, Cheuksan worked at Google, where he worked on several teams, including YouTube, Travel, Android, and Project Fi. At YouTube, he mainly worked on front-end features on the website, while in the Travel team, he worked on hotel search features on Google search, as well as hotel search backend features. On Android and Project Fi, he worked on messaging features, including SMS and MMS. He holds a US patent for Bloom filter for storing file access history and another for Mms delivery system. Cheuksan has a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he also earned his Master of Science (MS) degree. He also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Cornell University. His technical expertise includes AI, Deep Learning, Search, Computer Vision, Android, Software Engineering, Mobile, Frontend, Backend, and Web.
