Chhavi Kirtani is a final year undergraduate student pursuing Computer Science and Applied Mathematics at IIITD. She has gained experience as a Software Developer Intern at Amazon and as a Teaching Assistant at her current workplace, Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi. Her passion for problem-solving, machine learning, and mathematics has driven her to work on various innovative projects, such as a hand gesture controlled game and an automatic math problem-solving machine that implemented natural language processing and machine learning concepts. Chhavi's degree in CS and Applied Maths has enabled her to understand the core concepts behind different algorithms and methods, which she believes she can apply while working on real-world projects. She is a good team player and has demonstrated her skills working in a team in various hackathons and group projects. She is currently looking for new opportunities in the technical field to get familiarized with industry work. Apart from her academic and professional achievements, Chhavi has also worked as a Summer Camp Instructor at IIITD, where she helped underprivileged students learn and grow over the course of two months in the summer holidays. She taught computer fundamentals, internet, email, Google Docs, Excel, and basketball to kids in order to develop their interpersonal skills.
