Chhaya Gunawat is an experienced DevOps and infrastructure engineer, currently working as a DevOps Manager at Amazon. In her current role, she leads a cross-geo QA/DevOps team that contains manual and automation execution, coordinates and maintains the CI-CD process for Live Update and Live migration, plans software releases and execution, and communicates with partner teams to understand their requirements and help with processes to collaborate. She is also a Scrum Master for the team and makes engineering life easier by removing blockers and bringing structure to the team. Chhaya has expertise in AWS Architecture and Development, including EC2, S3, VPC, and IAM management. Prior to Amazon, Chhaya worked at NetApp as a Lead DevOps Engineer, where she led a team of Operations and Development Engineers to build and maintain infrastructure and automation for their Engineering organization. She built and maintained Ansible modules for NetApp, wrote an open-source CI/CD solution for NetApp, and implemented DevOps solutions using CDOT storage solutions to create faster sandboxes, self-contained development environments, faster, consistent, reliable, and efficient software build systems for NetApp to scale at the enterprise level. She managed the software development environment for 2000+ developers with 10+PB of NetApp storage. Chhaya also worked at Ziontech Solutions as a Cloud Engineer/DevOps, where she was responsible for deploying and managing cloud infrastructures, automating maintenance and regular jobs on cloud infrastructure, and designing highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure and management framework for multi-tenant SaaS applications. Chhaya holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Engineering from MBM Engineering College, Jodhpur under JNVU University, Jodhpur. She has 15.63 years of relevant experience and is skilled in DevOps, Ansible, infra, QA, CI/CD, and software engineering.
