Chiamaka Nnebe is a Senior Software Engineer at Netflix with over 5 years of experience in the tech industry. She is a product engineer with a passion for designing and developing great user experiences. Currently, Chiamaka works at Netflix as a Senior Software Engineer (UI) and Growth Engineer - Merchant Success. She is the Tech Lead for Merchant Details, a feature that enables 14,000+ merchants on Pinterest to share their brand values and communities with their audience. She also made the DRI for all team OKRs related to Merchant Value, planned, developed, and analyzed numerous experiments and contributed to building the Verified Merchant Program and the Business site. Chiamaka has also led numerous events related to Pinterest I&D initiatives, including facilitating a panel of senior women engineers for the annual Women’s Conference and helping start and present at Pin It To Win It (a series of sessions aimed at preparing students and bootcamp grads for technical roles). Prior to Netflix, Chiamaka worked at Pinterest as a Software Engineer, where she was responsible for developing and analyzing numerous experiments and features, including a native upsell experiment that led to over 600,000 new app installs in the first quarter it was fully ramped. She was also the technical lead for developing the GraphQL layer of the mobile app homepage redesign and mentored software engineering interns through their summer internship and cohort experience. Chiamaka holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Information Systems from Carnegie Mellon University and completed her High School education at Phillips Exeter Academy. Her tech stack includes Software Engineering, UI, Senior Software Engineering, and Mobile. Chiamaka is a talented and experienced engineer with a passion for developing products that provide great user experiences.
