Chibi Saikia is a social anthropologist with over 1 year of experience in people handling and relationship building in the field of marketing and sales. Currently working as a Hiring Partnership Associate at FunctionUp, she is using her observational, communication, and critical thinking skills to impact sales and contribute towards the betterment of the company. Prior to her current role, Chibi worked as an Admission Counselor at Simplilearn where she upsold and cross-sold IT courses such as Data Science, Full Stack Java Developer, Automation Testing, and Business Analytics. She accumulated sales pipeline, closed deals, and met the requirements of learners. Additionally, she built rapport with customers and solved their problems via customer retention and engagement. Chibi also worked as a Business Development Executive Marketing at Byju's where she worked on campaigns across Assam such as Discovery School Super League, Vidyartha, and Curriculum Sequencing. These campaigns aimed to onboard schools and create virtual classroom experiences to target customers and sync Byju's curriculum with the curriculum taught in schools. Chibi holds a Master of Science in Anthropology from the University of Delhi and a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology from Cotton University. She has experience in using tech stacks such as Java, Data Science, and testing.
