Ching-Yi Lee is an experienced Data Scientist with over 7 years of relevant experience. She is currently working as a Data Scientist at aetherai, where she trains computer vision models using TensorFlow/Pytorch with distributed framework (Horovod with MPI). She also maintains CI/CD linting and unit testing jobs with flake8, pylint, pytest, and unittest. Ching-Yi has deployed TensorRT object detection model to NVIDIA Jetson platform and achieved real-time inferencing. Prior to her current role, Ching-Yi worked at cloud mile inc. as a Data Scientist. There, she created RESTful APIs using Django and connected to Redis in a Docker environment. She prioritized inference requests and scheduled jobs using RQ (Redis Queue) and hosted model inferencing on Compute Engine. She also used Cloud Storage to save inference results and Cloud SQL to store/query customers' profiles. Ching-Yi built software and containers update pipeline with Shell Script and Docker file. Ching-Yi has also worked as an Application Engineer at Neurosky. There, she conducted bio-signal processing (smoothing and filtering) for data from PPG sensor with Matlab. She created ECG peak detection algorithm and built machine learning algorithm in C/C++. She maintained bio-signal database and designed bio-signal quality check algorithm. Ching-Yi has a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Texas, which she is expected to complete in December 2021. She also has a Master's degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree in Public Health/Minor in Engineering Science from National Taiwan University.
