Ching-Yu LIN is a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer with over 1 year of experience in the field. Currently working as a Machine Learning Engineer II at Cognite AS, Ching-Yu is a part of the Contextualization team where she is responsible for building, deploying, and maintaining multiple micro-services, including entity matching, computer vision, and logic constrained engines in multi-cloud environments. She also develops and maintains Python and Javascript SDKs for the above services. In addition to her work with the Contextualization team, Ching-Yu is also a part of the Vision team where she supports the establishment of the team and drives the development of internal annotation applications. She is also responsible for administering, organizing, and hosting internal knowledge sharing seminars and recruiting software engineers and ML engineers. Ching-Yu also mentors interns and is involved in team building activities. Prior to her current role, Ching-Yu served as a Machine Learning Engineer at Cognite AS, where she designed, developed, and deployed an object detection model using Mask-R-CNN with Pytorch. She also worked on a research project focused on Relationship Extraction from Engineering Diagrams with Scene Graph Generation models. Ching-Yu has also worked as a Machine Learning Intern at BNP Paribas CIB, where she delivered Neural Machine Translation models for critical language pairs, which outperformed all internal benchmarks. She also delivered a real-time assisted typewriting system and a prototype of the dashboard for the compliance office. Ching-Yu holds a Master of Science degree in Data Science for Business from école polytechnique, a Grande École program Master's degree in Management from HEC Paris, a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Material Science and Engineering from Tsinghua University, and a Bachelor of Economics degree in Economics from Peking University. She is also currently pursuing an Artificial Intelligence Professional Program at Stanford University.
