Chinmay Apte is a highly skilled and creative software engineer with over 10 years of experience in developing distributed systems. He is proficient in Java, Kotlin, Golang, and has extensive knowledge of databases such as PostgresSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Cassandra. He is also well-versed in Kafka, Kubernetes, AWS, and has expertise in TDD, CI/CD, and Microservices. Currently, Chinmay is working as a Senior Software Engineer at Zalando, where he is responsible for writing maintainable, low-latency, and highly available internal APIs. He also enables resilience and observability of internal services and collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop technical solutions. Additionally, he mentors and supports junior engineers in writing clean code.
