Chinmay Chauhan is a seasoned product leader and co-founder of BukuWarung, the fastest-growing startup in Southeast Asia. With over 11 years of experience in the payments, fintech, commerce, and ride-hailing industries, he has launched products that have impacted millions of users across the region. As the Co-Founder and President of BukuWarung, Chinmay is focused on building digital infrastructure for 60 million MSMEs in Indonesia. His vision is to empower these businesses to become financially aware and enable them to manage and grow using BukuWarung's technology platform, starting with bookkeeping, online storefront, and payments. Under his leadership, BukuWarung has raised $80M from top-tier VCs globally, including Peter Thiel's Valar Ventures, Goodwater Capital, Y-Combinator, and SoftBank Partners, among others. Prior to BukuWarung, Chinmay held leadership positions at Carousell, the largest mobile classifieds platform in SEA, and Grab, where he witnessed 21X growth and was ranked #8 PM. He was also part of the Grab team that acquired Kudo, reportedly for a valuation of over $100 million. Before that, Chinmay worked as a software engineer at Microsoft, having graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, where he was in the top 0.1% of his class. Chinmay's expertise lies in product management, software engineering, infrastructure, and mobile technology. He is a Forbes 30U30 honoree, and his achievements have been recognized by industry leaders and publications.
