Chinmay Choudhary is an Embedded Software Engineer at Qualcomm with over 4 years of industry experience and 5 months of certification/training course on embedded system design. He is a result-oriented and meticulous software professional with strong C programming and debugging skills. Chinmay has experience developing embedded system software on Linux-based systems involving Linux IPC, Linux kernel internals, and multi-threading implementations. He possesses good conceptual knowledge of data structures, operating systems, and Linux kernel internals. Chinmay has experience with Linux character device driver development and interrupt handling. He has also worked on board bring-up and peripheral test algorithm development. Additionally, he has experience with Shell Scripting & Makefile usage. Chinmay has hands-on experience in technical document writing on Microsoft Word, Excel & Flowcharts using Visio. He also has experience with GUI development on QT & LabView. Prior to joining Qualcomm, Chinmay worked as an Embedded Design Engineer at Coreel Technologies where he was involved in the development of systems used for propagation of RF signals. He was also involved in the development of a full-fledged evaluation board based on Zynq Ultrascale+ MPSOC. Chinmay has experience in debugging/improvisation of a system that provides the user with a GUI running on the PC environment, enabling the user to control and monitor the status of sub-systems connected to DCC-I/O card. Chinmay completed a training on embedded system design from Sandeepani-School of Embedded System Design. The training was based on topics such as Advance C programming and system programming using Linux, ARM7-TDMI Architecture & Programmer’s model, ARM7 Assembly programming using Keil MDK tool-chain, LPC2378 - ARM7 based MCU Architecture & Programming using Embedded C, and Interfacing and Programming with LPC2378(GPIO - LED, Switches, Matrix Keypad & LCD, Timer, RTC, ADC, UART). Chinmay holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Indus University. He completed his primary and secondary education from Ankur School.
