Chinmay Das is a self-taught programmer turned Machine Learning Engineer with a passion for building solutions using Artificial Intelligence. With over 5 years of relevant experience, he has worked on projects ranging from Background Removal using Deep Learning to Financial news classification and Transaction Categorization. Currently, he is focused on building a Recommendation engine using different algorithms. Chinmay's expertise lies in Python, Tensorflow, Pytorch, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and SQL. He has experience in Computer Vision and NLP, making him a versatile engineer. Currently, Chinmay works as a Senior Software Engineer at Zenoti. Prior to this, he worked at Aptus Data Labs as a Data Scientist, where he was responsible for providing different product solutions and designs related to the analytics field. Some of his notable accomplishments include Business News classification, Summarization, and Ranking, Transaction Categorization using LSTM, and Background Removal using object salience model. He has also deployed solutions for Image classification, segmentation, detection for server as well as edge devices. Chinmay holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Instrumentation and Electronics from the College of Engineering and Technology, Bhubaneswar. In addition to his professional experience, Chinmay is a Kaggle expert and has a strong interest in research. His technical expertise, coupled with his passion for Artificial Intelligence, makes him a valuable asset to any team.
